This car was the one that set the world on notice for the rotary engine back in 1978. Yes, the Rx2's and 3's (and the Cosmo / R100 too), I have had most of them and they were fun to drive back in the day.
The SA, put the engine in the right place, wonderful sportscar styling and handling, and with the light weight, small tires, these were a blast to hang the tail out and rip all the way to redline over and over again.
It is that analog feeling, no car today can replicate that. Yes, it has numb steering, you can feel everything and it isn't anywhere as fast as today's cars, but drive one for awhile and you'll know what I mean, it just feels good behind the wheel.
This is a classic, and for those who understand it and want to experience it, why not?
